During the Martian dialogue, Dr. Blake, the acronym “OBE” is incorrectly explained as “Overtaken by Events”. In U.S. government agencies, including the Intelligence Community and the Department of Defense, the correct/official explanation for the acronym “OBE” is; “Overtaken by Events”.. The opening credits feature characters and scenes from the series interspersed with mirror panels. James Jesus Angleton, the CIA’s former director of counterintelligence, also known as the spy poet, described the secret service game as a “wilderness of mirrors,” a term borrowed from a poem by T.S. Eliot. Eliot called it Gerontion (the title is Greek for “little old man”), and the poem is an interior monologue that recounts the views and impressions of an old man, describing post-World War I Europe through the eyes of most living people from his century of life. The Agency is a must-see for anyone who likes spy thrillers. First of all, the cast is absolutely stunning. Starring Michael Fassbender, Jeffery Wright, Richard Gere, and Katherine Waterston. The cast is reason enough to give this a try, and it’s a really good show. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this show, and most of the cast nominated for awards come awards season. The series is about an undercover CIA agent (Fassbender) who is ordered to leave his secret life behind and return to the fold with his ex-girlfriend (Waterston), who he’s still in love with. His love for her begins to interfere with his real life and mission. If you’re a fan of spy thrillers or a good mystery series, give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
